Mahjjestic 101 — Learn the Basics (2 hrs) $45
New to American mahjong? Start here. We’ll introduce you to the tiles, the basics of the game, and everything you need to know to sit down and start playing.
Mahjjestic 102 — Build Your Game (2 hrs) $45
You’ve learned the basics. Now let’s play. We’ll help you put the pieces together, understand your options, and become a more confident player as you gain experience around the table.
Strategy Session + Open Play (2 hrs) $45
There’s always more to learn. From hands and strategy to defensive play and other mahjong topics, this event is designed to help you keep learning, improving, and having fun.
Our Strategy events include 1 hour of instruction with 1 hour of guided or open play so you have the best chance to learn and apply. Topics include, but are not limited to:
Mastering the Card The card is your roadmap—but knowing how to navigate it is the game-changer.
The Art of the Charleston What to keep, what to pass, and how to make the most of the Charleston.
Reading the Table Learning to pay attention to what everyone else is doing.
